The primary objectives of the ARVHA (Association for Research on the City and Housing), founded in 1993, are to promote : 

• research and development in renovation, rebuilding and rehabilitation of urban centres and housing projects ; 
• creation of partnerships in the construction industry ; 
• international projects (in Euuropa and particularly in Poland). 

  ARVHA proposes to undertake :

• The training of partners.
• Long term training courses.
• International Actions.
